Blog Session 8. Write about you Blogging Experience

- Did you enjoy it? Why? Why not?
Well if I have to talk about that, my opinion would be divided.
I enjoy this, but I found difficult for me, because my level of English is still basic... I thought what I could do this with less dificcult, but I would lie if I say that.
Anyway, I had fun even though it was difficult, because I can write the truth about me and the teacher respects that and more than once she said me what fun and interesting to them and I appreciate her respect and attention.

Why not? The time, due to my basic level of English, was short for me, for this reason my activities just can have the minimun of words required, and the class schedule, being so late and having class all day, I didn't have the same attention, for this reason, that was harder for me.

- Did it help you improve your English?
Obviously, due to my basic level, but work with the verbs and another words still is hard for me, well, I don't expected to radically change my level, therefore, cost me more to learn and adapt to the level of the course and that made me see all the weakness that I have and I hope improve, because I think the important that is learn another language, principally English due to is the most important and used language now, and I think that this can help me a lot in my future if I decide go to study or work in another country.
My wish is learn a lot of English and someday I will can talk fluently, read quickly, understand the songs and movies without having to read the subtitles in Spanish, and principally, can hear the conversation, understand and respond appropriately, and if not too of ask can think things in English.

- Give your opinion of the advantages and disadvantages of blogging in the English class.
Advantages: that serves for to express the things we feel and think, for this reason, I had to search a lot of words not known and I have learned and I try to not forget.

Disadvantages: well... as I said, the time to do the activities of the blog, the evening classes which were and for the same doesn't count with the necessary time (for me) to do the works and
Minimum the 150 words required.... I don't do the work like I want to do.... but when I improve my English I will can do this easily.

I have to talk about a lawyer that is important in some juridical
area..

Well... I decided to talk about Ana María Polo.
She is a lawyer and makes a known show in the american TV called "Caso Cerrado" where go the persons with different problems who need a solution for that her with its strong character and opinion straight help them.

She born in Cuba and studied law in Florida where she is authorized to practice her advocacy.
She has been dedicated especially in cases of family such as divorces, adoptions, paternities, custody suits, and other family related cases.

In her TV show, she sees a lot of people and cases. In her TV program dealing frequently with scandalous and shocking legal battles, which are resolved always of the best form possible. The most importantly is that the Dr. Polo tries to resolve the different problems are presented being most fair possible and giving some lection or teaching about the situation and the errors we can commit and serve for the live although in the TV show Dr. Polo don´t decided like a lawyer rather like as a referee.

Who took it?
My brother took that photograph.

What it shows?
Basically the photograph shows me and shows part of the environment.
The zone where was taken is a very beautiful place, in the south of the country, specifically in the mountain range of the Ninth Region, near the LLaima volcano. The natura of this zone is beautiful and shocking for the eyes, because wherever you see, is only forest, every you can see is green of the forest, Is amazing!
The trees have thousands and thousands of years, are big and beautiful. The most characteristic tree of the zone is the "Araucaria" a tree that grows in this cold zone because present the necessary conditions, especially the high wetness and despite being a very cold place this incredible trees can support the weather.
Also this zone have a lot of lakes and gaps, which are beautiful, their water are pure, clean and are deep blue, The lagoon is one of them Icalma, where we were.

When it was taken?
Was taken this year, last summer in the month of february, when my family and I were of summer holidays.

Why you like it?
Well... even if I appears alone in the picture, I like it because reminds me the beautiful summer holidays that I had with my lovely family, the places, the nature, the trees, the mountains, everything, everything, everything related Icalma, who is the place where we were.

Why I´m studying this career?
Well, I don´t know exactly why I study this career, but I supose this is because I like the history and I have human skills.
But lately I realized that the career has a lot of areas like tax law, which I found very interesting.

What do professionals in your area contribute to society?
They fight for the protection of the rights and the respect for the law. Sometimes, they defend people who can´t afford a lawyer free or low cost.

What tools will a professional in your area need to have in the future?
A professional in my area will need to have in the future a lot of knowledge about the different areas of the law, but this isn´t enough, because that person will need to have an honest behavior, and this is achieved with an education and upbringing based on ethics and values such as honesty, respect and others.

What is your favourite subject?
Well, how I say previously, I don´t know exactly why I´m studying this career, for this reason, everything associated with it has been very difficult by me and If I have to respond this question, I don´t know what to say, because I´m still waiting for a subject that I like and can say whit certainty.

If i have to provide a link of a website that I use frequently, that would U-cursos : http:www.u-cursos.cl.
In U-Cursos is all the information and material that I need for every subject I have, also some classmates writing classes in computer and uploaded in the page or I'm in a "group typing" in which I and some classmates we agree to attend certain classes and then write them into computer. Normally we send these classes by mail between classmates who are in the same group and sometimes we upload to "U-Cursos" for all other.
Sometimes, when I'm searching an information for a work, I looking for in a search engine like "google" a lot of the results just bringing to me to the home page U-cursos. I think this happens because U-cursos is a page that contains a lot of very good information.
U-cursos store a large quantity of documents, which are useful for all the different subjects that are in the career and allows us to see them, take them into our computers and downloaded from the internet.

And if it is a site that I like and that is related to the career I can indicate Wikiderecho which contains a lot of things like information about teachers who is about their lives, their occupations, their teaching methods, forms of evaluations, also contains some humor and another things; but the problem is that this website is managed by a political group of the University, which takes away credibility.

My favourite piece of technology

My favourite piece of technology is my laptop. This is a very special thing for me because moreover to use it and that is useful to me, was a gift from my brother which is the best brother in the world and I love him!, he is a great and beautiful person *O*.
My laptop was brought from the U.S. because a friend of my brother went to U.S. last year and my brother request him to buy it because it is cheaper there.
My laptop is modern and has a nice design, also has a great capacity and I can do a lot of things like as playing my favourite games (:P), listen the music I like, see movies, read my favorite novels and mangas and also I can do the works for College.
I always use my laptop, either for fun or for a while do work.
Every day for a different cause I turn on my computer and I entered in a different world full of different things.

Thank you my dear brother for this amazing and incredible gift!!

My name´s Elisa,
I have twenty one years old,
I live in Maipu, Santiago,
My family are my mom Mirtha, my dad Daniel and my brother Alex.
I start with my dislikes in my academic experience. When I came first time to the university I was confused because I didn´t know what to study and this made what I was very depress.
In my likes, I have learned a lot of important things which wasn´t are all about law also I have known beautiful people which are my best friends.
Like as an english learner I want to learn a lot of things, because I know little and I think it is important to learn another language and culture and in the future I if I travel someday to another country.
